Dr Gabriel Aboyadana
Lead Consultant
Gabriel is a financial and development economist with over a decade of experience spanning higher education, applied research, and business consultancy across Ghana, Scotland, and England. He holds a PhD in Economics, an MPhil in Finance, and a BA in Economics, alongside postgraduate qualifications in research methods and learning and teaching in higher education. He is a part-qualified financial and management accountant with both ICAGH and CIMA, a Fellow of Advance HE, and a member of the Royal Economic Society.

His academic career has taken him through some of the UK's most respected institutions — including the University of Glasgow, the University of Strathclyde, York St John University, and the University of the West of Scotland — where he has supervised over 100 graduate students and published research spanning banking, labour economics, development economics, and health economics.

As the founder of Aliboma, Gabriel brings that same rigorous, evidence-driven thinking to small and medium enterprises — helping business owners move from confusion to clarity, and from stagnation to sustainable growth. His approach is direct, deeply contextual, and always grounded in what actually works.
